Using Boomtel

Introduction

Boomtel has created the Internet Telephone Numbering system, its structure and its professional telephone network. This means that the entire world now sits under one area code for free local, national long distance and international calls.

The Internet area code is now 100 + your Internet Telephone Number(s).

With your internet telephone number, you do not need a computer and headset to talk to a person on another computer; instead, you can simply use your office extension, your home-office telephone and even your mobile phone to speak to anyone who must also have an internet telephone number and never pay a phone bill again.

Connecting your Home Office

Using either a compatible IP telephone or a regular telephone connected to a low cost telephone adapter, all of your calls between your home office and anyone in the world who has an internet telephone number are free. If you work for a company and work at home, then your home office becomes an internal extension of the company’s telephone system through the internet, and all calls between you and your colleagues, customers and suppliers are carried free of charge.

Connecting your Office Telephone System

The internet telephone lines are handled like traditional lines except that they are internet based and do not carry call charges and are 100% Free, cutting your business communications costs drastically. You make external free calls by just picking up your extension and dialing an internet number from your desk telephone. There are 3 types of telephone systems, IP, ISDN and Analog.

Connecting an IP telephone system

Internet Telephone Numbers are made for the new generation IP-PBX telephone systems and with a simple system configuration provisioned remotely by your telephone system maintainer.

ISDN telephone system

Your ISDN telephone system can be connected to make and receive Free Internet Telephone calls by requesting your telephone maintainer to attach an ISDN to SIP Gateway pointing the Internet Telephone Numbers directly to your office extensions.

Analog telephone system

Your analog telephone system can be connected to make and receive Free Internet Telephone calls. You will need to have your telephone system maintainer attach a very low cost analog terminal adapter and assign Internet Telephone Numbers to your analog telephone system.

Using your Mobile Phone

In order to make or receive calls through the Internet, your office telephone system will need to carry internet calls and must have Internet telephone numbers assigned to it. When a caller calls the office through the Internet, a call forward to your mobile allows you to receive the internet call. To make an internet call from your mobile, you need to call your office and then use your mobile phone’s keypad to call an Internet Telephone Number free.
